I have meant to read this story for a very long time and the remix has finally given me the impetus to make time. i'm so glad I did. As brutally painful as this story is the artful construction leaves me breathless. Every step Cordelia makes is logical and thought out. Is the right decision. and yet, one single, stupid chance of fate (Nancy's phone being confiscated) and the whole thing came tumbling down. I didn't see it coming at all and it cuts the whole set up to ribbons.

The alternate universe situation is pretty gripping as well. How the power changes Cordelia's focus but she remains essentially herself at the same time. I love Cordy and was happy to see this story through her eyes. All the characterizations I thought were spot on. Smashing job!
